1st Coding Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools in PH

#Code.it.PH is the creative coding competition designed for pupils in primary and secondary schools in Port Harcourt.

The aim of #CODEitPH is to build skills needed for the digital future. Pupils often feel empowered when they can create digital media and share it with others. They explore and develop their creative and cognitive abilities using coding. Coding also helps pupils develop academic skills, build qualities like perseverance and team work, and gain valuable 21st century skills that can translate into a career.

THE CHALLENGE
The participants will create a 2D Android | Windows | HTML platform game using C++, or C# or Godot Scripting Language.

THE CATEGORIES
The competition has two categories:
Primary.
Secondary.

THE PRIZES
The winners of each category will get a laptop and a 1 year scholarship. Tabs, Phones and other prizes will be given to other contestants, the teachers and the participating schools.

THE SCHEDULE
DATE: Friday, 29th March, 2019.
TIME: 9am.
